Take this seven days Ziyarat Tour to explore the sacred destinations in Samarkand, Bukhara and Tashkent, to ziyarat the resting places of great scholars of Islam. The highlights of this tour are visits to Imam al Bukhari’s memorial complex, the collector of the hadith “Sahih al-Bukhari” and to the architectural complex of Khwaja Baha ad-Din Naqshband, the Master of the “Naqshbandiya” order.

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur - Tashkent (Friday)

Departure to Uzbekistan by flight:

HY - 552 Uzbekistan Airways at 10:10 AM.

15:05 Arrival to Tashkent International airport (Terminal 2).

17:00 Transfer to the hotel for check in and rest after long flight.

Transfer to the Kukcha mosque for praying.

Dinner in a local restaurant.

Overnight in Tashkent.

Day 2: Tashkent – Samarkand (Saturday)

07:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00 Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and take you out for sightseeing tour around Tashkent city. You will start Tashkent city tour with visiting the Khast Imam Complex - where the oldest Koran(Osman's Holy book Koran) (also known as the Uthman Quran, Samarkand codex, Samarkand manuscript and Tashkent Quran) displayed inside a beautiful library-museum.

Barakkhan Madrassah (XVI c) - was the headquarters of the Sunni Mufti of ex-Sogdian Central Asia & Kazakhstan. It is interesting for its mosaic and Arabic calligraphy of the late 16 cent. Brick facade and the intricately carved doors made by Samarkand craftsmen Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum - which is the grave of a local doctor, philosopher and poet of Islam who lived from 904 to 979. The portal, inner dome and arcade dated 16th century, when his holy reputation attracted a cemetery.

Close to Chorsu bazaar area there is 16th centuries old Kukeldash Madrassah (XVI c). - The grand 16th c. madrassah has domed courtyard. Now the building is returned to service as an Islamic school. Here you will get information about education system and visit one of the classrooms to learn about the calligraphy art. Next to it is the tiny 15th c. Juma mosque.

Then drive out to the suburbs of Tashkent to visit Zangi Ota complex.

15:00 Afternoon drive to Samarkand.

18:00 Dinner in Samarkand.

Transfer to hotel.

Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 3: Samarkand (Sunday)

07:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00 Sightseeing tour in Samarkand - the Eden of ancient East, the most precious pearl in the Islamic world. Samarkand - called Marakanda in the 4th century BC, whoever tried to conquer it! During the centuries the city has been invaded by troops of Alexander the Great, Arabian invaders, Chenghes Khan and Tamerlane. Today romance of Samarkand still works its magic, alluring the travelers with a dreamlike quality.

You will start your sightseeing tour in Samarkand from Gur Amir Mausoleum (XV c) - Timurids dynastic burial vault, unique monument of architecture. It is the final resting place of the Great warlord and statesman Amir Temur (Tamerlane) and members of his dynasty.

Registan square (XV – XVII c) - consist of grand madrassah of Ulugbek, Sher Dor & Tillya Kari.

Then visit Shahi - Zinda mausoleum (XIV - XVc) - burial-place of Qussam Ibn Abbas, the cousin of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and many other mausoleums displaying beautiful mosaic and majolica tile work.

12:00 Time for praying.

Lunch at local restaurant in Samarkand city center.

Bibi Khanum mosque (XIVc) - Architects, craftsmen & painters re-constructed it in 5 years.

Ulugbek’s Observatory (XV c) – 1st observatory in Orient with 30m sextant built by Ulugbek to make exact astronomical catalog.

Finish sightseeing tour by shopping at Siyab bazaar.

Optional finish the sightseeing tour by visiting the Mausoleum of Khodja Daniar or Saint Daniel, a prophet of the Old Testament. This holy place is recognized by Islam, Christianity and Judaism as one of eminent pilgrimage destinations.

19:00 Dinner in a restaurant.

Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 4: Samarkand - Bukhara (Monday)

07:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

08:00 Visit to mausoleum of Abu Mansur Al-Matrudi, the great theologian in Islam.

Then drive out of Samarkand and visit the memorial complex of Imam Al-Bukhoriy (the great Hadith collector, a celebrated personality of Islamic world), which was built with the support of the entire Muslim world.

13:00 Lunch in a restaurant.

Afternoon drive to Bukhara the City of 1000 and 1 night, and en-route in Gijduvan make ziyarat to resting place of Khoja Abdul Khaliq al-Ghujdawani.

Arrival to Bukhara – this is one of the best places in Central Asia which was as capital of Samanid state in the 9th and 10th centuries and known in history as “Bukhoro-i Sharif”.

19:00 Dinner in a restaurant.

Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 5: Bukhara (Tuesday)

07:00 Breakfast in the hotel.

Today you will continue ziyarat tour to the resting places of Khojas in the outskirts of Bukhara:

Khoja Arif Riwgari,

Khoja Anjir Faghnawi,

Khoja Ali Ramitani,

Khoja Muhammad Baba Sammasi.

Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 6: Bukhara (Wednesday)

07:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast final ziyarat to the mausoleums of Sayyid Amir Kulal and Baha-ud-Din Naqshband Bukhari.

11:00 City tour of Bukhara will include visit to Samani Mausoleum, Bolo Hauz mosque, Poi Kalon Ensemble of Kalan Minaret, Kalan mosque, Mir Arab Madrassah Trade domes and Lyabi Hauz.

During the tour your guide will take you shopping of local handicrafts.

Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 7: Bukhara - Tashkent (Thursday)

07:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to Bukhara Airport to take a flight

HY - 1322 Uzbek Airways at 09:55 AM.

back to Tashkent.

11:30 Arrival to Tashkent.

13:00 Lunch in a restaurant.

15:00 Tashkent sightseeing tour in Tashkent.
